PMA Sales designs, engineers, and distributes a wide variety of FAA approved products to a diverse group of customers world wide. Our mission is to provide the highest quality products at a reasonable price at all times. In addition, PMA Sales will make every effort to have the necessary parts in stock so that they are available for our customers when they need them.
Brief History
PMA Sales was founded in 2000 and developed many FAA/PMA parts used in the repair of Hamilton Sundstrand and Whittaker pneumatic valves. A large number of valve repair parts for Honeywell and Honeywell NGL valves was also designed and manufactured. Since then, over 200 new products have been produced that include expanded pneumatic valve repair parts, LED lights, RTV & Fuel System Sealants, elastomeric isolators, PT6T engine parts, and complete pneumatic valves.
In 2007, a major expansion program began. The company was relocated from its original location in Northridge, CA to a location near Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport in Mesa, AZ. PMA Sales moved into the 21st century with the installation of "Quantum" software designed and supported by Component Controls of San Diego, CA. In addition, the engineering staff was expanded and customer support was improved to allow for future growth. These changes led to more products and much higher revenues in 2007 and 2008.
In 2008, PMA Sales passed another milestone by developing silicone RTV's in conjuction with Aerospace Sealants. This is an industry first that provided aircraft operators and maintainers with a true alternative to OEM chemical products for the first time ever. Our silicone RTV's meet or exceed OEM requirements and may be used on all popular airframe types. An alternate for fuel system sealants has also been developed and is now available.
2009 began with PMA Sales' taking possession of its new building at Mesa, AZ's historic Falcon Field. The new facility was completed in late 2008 and features a large warehouse and offices along with an engineering center and new, state of the art", Quality Control Lab. In addition, a voice over IP (VOIP) system was installed to improve our ability to communicate with our customers and PMA Sales field employees. The new building was designed to provide for PMA Sales headquarters requirements for the next 10 years.
2009 marks another exciting year with the addition of distributors Avio-Diepen and Wencor West. These two excellent companies will provide for increased PMA Sales product visibility in overseas markets. Over 100 new products will be introduced as our aggressive product expansion continues. PMA Sales is perfectly positioned to provide the aviation industry with the highest quality products that are available for immediate delivery at a reasonable price.
